Product Overview

Traditional automotive cable tie binding mostly relies on manual threading, pre-tensioning, and final tensioning and cutting with a cable tie gun, which is labor-intensive, fatiguing for workers, time-consuming and inefficient compared to machines. This fixed cable tie automatic tensioning and cutting machine simplifies the process: workers only need to manually place the cable tie into the cavity plate, arrange the product, manually thread the cable tie through the hole to the induction position and hold the cable tie, then the internal feeding wheel of the machine will automatically tension and cut the cable tie. Each cycle takes about 1-1.5 seconds (slightly different depending on the length of the cable tie), greatly saving time costs and reducing worker fatigue. It is especially suitable for cable harness binding in the automotive industry and other related fields.

Usage Instructions

1.      Each gun head uses a standard 5.5*2.5 DC-022 socket. A single gun head requires a power supply of DC24V with a current of 2.5A or more. Customers can also cut and replace the power head connection method according to their own needs.

2.      After power-on, place the cable tie into the cable tie fixing plate (marked position in Figure A), then place the wire harness, manually thread the cable tie through the hole to the induction position and hold the cable tie, and the internal feeding wheel of the machine will automatically tension and cut the cable tie.

3.      When it is necessary to adjust the tail length, the tail length can be increased or shortened by changing the thickness of the cover fixture plate. Note: Some cable tie tails are concave; generally, we have adjusted them at the factory, and customers can only add special gaskets to extend the tail length.

4.      When customers need to adapt to different cable ties, they only need to replace the cable tie fixture plate where the cable tie is placed in Figure A to adapt to different cable ties. To adjust the torque, just adjust according to the scale on Figure 2; the larger the value, the greater the torque.
